The Orbit Horizon™ is the most impressive memorial object in our collection, designed to honor a life full of memories with ample space and serenity. Crafted from our high-quality, microorganism-produced PHA, this model offers a combination of durability, robustness, and aesthetics. The Horizon is a respectful alternative to traditional, large urns.

With a generous capacity of 5.5 liters (actual capacity approximately 5.6 liters including the lid), the Horizon offers sufficient space for the full ashes of an adult, possibly combined with personal tangible mementos you wish to keep with the ashes. Thanks to this ample volume, the model is also eminently suitable as a dual urn for combining the ashes of two loved ones. The Horizon serves as a calming and stylish ornament in your home until the time comes to return the object to nature. In the ground, the material is fully broken down by microorganisms, allowing the urn to become one with nature without leaving microplastics behind.

Usage & application

• Looks beautiful as a minimalist ornament in the home.
• Remains stable during dry, above-ground storage.
• Suitable for burial in a garden or at a (natural) cemetery.
• Do not lift the urn by its lid.
• Please note for indoor use: do not place the urn near a direct heat source or in direct sunlight behind glass on hot summer days, to maintain the optimal shape of the biological material (dimensionally stable up to approx. 80°C).
• After filling, the lid can be pressed firmly until a distinct click is heard. The urn is then securely sealed, so the lid cannot easily come loose.
• The urn can be carefully opened if necessary. Hold the urn firmly and apply controlled force, as the lid is securely attached. Only open the urn when necessary to minimize the risk of damage.

Certification & material

Our urns are made from PHA (polyhydroxyalkanoate), a biobased material with a focus on natural degradation. The material holds TÜV certifications OK Compost HOME and OK Biodegradable MARINE. Certifications OK Biodegradable SOIL and OK Biodegradable WATER are currently pending and are expected to be delivered in October 2026.
