At Blauwdruk 3D, we believe that a dignified farewell does not have to burden the earth. Behind the scenes at our production facility in Tiel, we work daily on a major mission: to expand the funeral offerings with local, sustainable, and biodegradable alternatives.
With the launch of our Orbit urn line, we are taking the first concrete step. These urns are produced locally using innovative biopolymers (PHA) that are microplastic-free and fully biodegraded by microorganisms. The material has been tested and certified by TÜV Austria for marine environments and home composting; certification for soil and fresh water is currently pending and is expected to follow later this year.
